Proper Diet
A proper balanced diet according to doshas is beneficial and avoid that aggravates Vata dosha in body. It is advisable to stop taking bananas and yogurt. Those who smoke and take tobacco in any form should stop it completely. No more than two cups of coffee or tea should be taken within a day. They should eat four times a day. During breakfast they should eat an orange, apple or any fruit except banana. During lunch and dinner first take salad a mixture of tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, lettuce or any raw vegetables. After a cup of salad you can consume wheat bread, saag, pulses. Patient should avoid taking hot spices. Drink plenty of water before your meal. In evening time patient can have green tea with some light refreshment.
